What is Clinical Supervision?

Clinical supervision is a professional relationship between a supervisor and a supervisee that aims to support, develop, and enhance the supervisee’s clinical practice. It typically involves regular meetings where the supervisee discusses their caseload, professional challenges, and personal reactions to their work. In return, the supervisor provides guidance, feedback, and support to help the supervisee improve their clinical skills, maintain ethical standards, and ensure the well-being of their clients.
