About the Position: Nutrition Braved is seeking an full time eating disorder dietitian to work with adolescents, teens, and/or adults in a private practice setting. This hybrid position requires an average of 22 patients per week and is located at one of our two office locations (Naperville or Northbrook) where services are provided in-person and via telehealth for those who desire it. The Registered Dietitian would primarily be responsible for individual nutrition counseling for patients, including documentation and collaboration with other healthcare providers, as needed. Additional opportunities for marketing, course development, written content, or other creative endeavors may be available for interested practitioners.

About Nutrition Braved: Nutrition Braved is a thriving nutrition practice based out of Naperville, IL serving the greater Chicagoland area virtually and in person. The practice specializes in eating disorders including binge eating disorder (BED), Anorexia Nervosa (AN), Bulimia Nervosa (BN), other specified feeding or eating disorders (OSFED), avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), orthorexia, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), compulsive exercise, emotional eating and chronic dieting behaviors with or without a formal diagnosis. We follow a Health At Every Size (HAES) aligned approach, focusing on creating a weight inclusive environment, and rejecting standard weight centric treatment. We are looking for a Registered Dietitian who is passionate about providing weight-inclusive care. We practice compassionate care to affirm and support diversity in our patients including but not limited to those from BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and/or fat-positive communities, all backgrounds, and body types. 

Job Description for Full-Time Eating Disorder Dietitian

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual nutrition counseling both on-site and virtually
  • Participate in weekly team collaboration meetings and trainings
  • Maintain full-time availability to hold an average of 22 patient sessions per week
  • Collaborate with patient’s treatment team as necessary
  • Comply with standardization of care and employee practices/expectations around patient follow-ups, notes, collaboration of care, etc.
  • Complete state and federal continuing education requirements and training

Position Requirements:

  • Registered Dietitian Licensed in the State of Illinois
  • 2+ years eating disorder nutrition counseling experience post licensure
  • 1+ years higher level of care eating disorder experience
  • Desire in growing to see adolescents and teens
  • Understanding of Intuitive Eating and HAES principles
  • Strong nutrition counseling skills practicing from a weight-inclusive lens
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong computer and EMR skills
