Breadth of Experience
Our CEDS supervisors average 8 years of eating disorder experience. They have all worked at a higher level of care facility prior to working in an outpatient private practice setting and have held varying roles as clinicians, supervisors, and managers for a all encompassing perspective on care.
Specialtizations
Nutrition Braved is a group or dietitians that specialize on eating disorders, emotional, eating, chronic dieting, and other disordered eating behaviors. We provide HAES aligned care by supporting all-foods fit, joyful movement, and mindful eating during our nutrition counseling sessions.
Individual & Group Supervision
We welcome individual one-on-one supervision along with discounted group and student supervision for you and your friends/peers. Each individual one-hour supervision session and can be performed in-person or virtually. Check out more information on pricing below.
Facilitators
Multi- disciplinary supervision group
This group provides:
- Consultation on client cases at any level of care
- Space to process professional anxieties and reduce imposter syndrome
- The opportunity to build or expand your professional network
- Discussion such as coordination of care, navigating tricky client relationships, and working from a Health at Every Size (HAES) paradigm
- Support in developing the ability to more confidently diagnose, conceptualize, and treat eating disorders

Jenn Sapko
MS, RDN, LDN, CEDS-C
Jenn Sapko is the Clinical Supervisor at Nutrition Braved and has 7+ years of eating disorder experience. She has a background working at all of the higher levels of care ( residential, PHP and IOP) and most recently in outpatient and private practice.
Jenn is a local expert in treating ARFID and specializes in adolescents and teens. She has a great wealth of knowledge in how to integrate families into ED treatment and collaborate with other disciplines to give patient’s best care.Â

MEGHAN MONTE
MBA, RDN, LDN, CEDS-C
Meghan Monte is the founder and owner of Nutrition Braved. She has a background of experience working with eating disorders for 8+ years at all of the Higher level of care ( hospital, residential, PHP and IOP) before working in outpatient and private practice.
Expertise in Binge eating disorder, showing up and holding space for patients in marginalized bodies, considerations in weight bias and making sure to give weight inclusive, fat positive and affirming care.
Meghan founded Nutrition Braved in 2020, they have grown to open 2 locations and a staff of 7. She currently helps clinicians, interns and practice owners through clinical supervision and business consulting.

About Our CEDS Supervisors
While all of our CEDS Supervisors are currently working in the outpatient private practice setting, they all have prior higher level of care (Residential,PHP, IOP) experience. With the various backgrounds they possess, they each specialize in unique areas beyond general eating disorder treatment and care. They are able to supervise Dietitians or therapists and other medical and mental Health providers seeking CEDS certification. Check with the IAEDP check list for how many hours they can supervise for a supervisor outside your discipline.

CEDS Supervisor General Requirements​
- 5+ years of experience in the field of eating disorder
- 6,000 hours of diagnosis and treatment work experience in the field of eating disorders
- Leading By Example Workshop
- Actively licensed registered dietitian with CEDS in good standing
- Apply and get accepted as an iaedpTM-Approved Supervisor
What is CEDS?
CEDS stands for Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and is the only nationally recognized certification credential for eating disorders. The CEDS serves as the single professional designation for all providers of eating disorders care (medical, mental health, nutrition) and is offered by the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp). Obtaining your Certified Eating Disorder Specialist Certification is a multi-year process but once completed, it not only validates your expertise but also empowers you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals struggling with eating disorders.

CEDS Certification General Requirements
- 2500+ Required Practice Hours
- 2000+ hours of direct client/patient service and education
- 150+ hours of indirect client service
- 24+ hours of supervision meetings
- Additional Details
- 1875+ practice hours must be supervised by an iaedpTM- Approved Supervisor within your discipline who is overseeing your work experience
- Additional hours can be from another discipline
- Hours spread over at least 24 months, not exceeding 40 hours per week.
- Supervisor provides information for certification application, letter of recommendation, and confirmation of hours.
