Nutrition Manager & Certified Eating Disorder Specialist - Adolescents & Adults
I have had the pleasure of serving the eating disorder community for 10+ years, working in all levels of care. Majority of my experience has been at the inpatient level of care, most recently serving as the Supervisor of Dietitians and Inpatient Eating Disorder Program at a behavioral health hospital. I have also worked in transitional living, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient nutrition counseling. As a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS), and Registered Dietitian, I work throughout the spectrum of eating disorders with all aged individuals. I have had the opportunity to provide education through numerous professional seminars and mentoring Dietitians new in practice.
Megan's Approach
My philosophy pairs firm empathy with flexible structure. I use humor, personal connection and individuality when working with clients to develop nutrition-related goals. My hope is to collaboratively work to improve nutrition status, heal clients’ relationship with food and discover new ways of experiencing food, while working within a non-diet, Health at Every Size (HAES)-aligned approach. Navigating recovery and healing food relationships can be incredibly difficult; it is my hope to walk together during this journey.
